My Students

Due to COVID-19, stores have been shut down, stores have been wiped out, people are required to maintain 6 feet of social distancing, and unemployment rate is through the roof.

With your help, we can help ease some stress of the families who are have been effected by COVID-19 by purchasing food, drinks, and personal care items to distribute.

Everyday responsibilities are stressful. On top of these everyday responsibilities, parents and families now have to worry about their child's virtual education, risk of unemployment, and the uncertainty of markets and stores not having what they need in the time that they need it.

My Project

Not eating the proper foods not only affects ones energy but it affects ones mood! In this high stress time, it is of utmost importance to eat foods that will enhance your mood and give you energy. Personal care items, such as toothpaste, diapers, and deodorant, are expensive and supplies are currently limited.

We have all been effected by the effects of COVID-19, some communities have been hit harder than others.

In South Shore, Chicago, 47% of people make less than 25K per year and prior to COVID-19, the unemployment rate WAS at 11.9%. Now, with the unemployment rate drastically increasing, due to the pandemic, people across the city need some help.

This money will be used to purchase healthy foods, drinks, and personal care items, such as diapers; trash bags; toothpaste; deodorant; etc., that will be immediately distributed to my students and their families in South Shore, Chicago. This box of goods will help ease some stress these families are experiencing. A little help can go a long way!
