My Project

I love teaching music lessons centered around books. I read or sing a book and turn it into a music lesson or activity. Kids love learning a new song this way. This project will help me get the materials I need to teach a love of music and literacy.

In Prairie Chicken Little, students will sing, play ukulele, play recorder, participate in folk dance, and read wonderful children's literature books.

Students will have the chance to participate in hands-on lessons while offering differentiated instruction to students of varying ability levels.

I am so excited to teach this new music to my students and share the love and joy I have for music and literacy.
