This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are kind and loving individuals who have been identified with various significant disabilities. They come to school every morning with big smiles and big hearts. Throughout the day, students are presented with many different learning activities designed to help solidify the skills introduced throughout high school. The students within this classroom are encouraged to complete all activities of daily living with as much independence as possible
This saw will make a difference in my program by allowing my students to easily create new raised beds and other do-it-yourself crafts.
This saw will teach students how to make miter cuts with precision. When creating different craft projects, it is much easier to adjust the angle and bevel of the blade. Being able to quickly adjust this, allows for instruction to be maximized.
