This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our dynamic classroom, our students are both exceptionally bright and exceptionally energetic. These young minds are eager to learn, but they often struggle to stay focused during lessons and work time. We believe that with the right tools, we can help them channel their energy in a positive way.

We're requesting support for essential tools that will aid our students, particularly those with ADHD, in maintaining their focus.

These tools include wobble chairs, bouncy bands, calming posters, sensory stickers, standing desks, wobble balance boards, weighted vests and toys, portable lap desks, calm strips, breathing exercise cards, and sensory brushes.

The wobble chairs and bouncy bands offer students the chance to fidget while staying engaged, while calming posters and sensory stickers create a peaceful atmosphere. Standing desks and wobble balance boards provide options for movement, weighted vests offer comfort, and the lap desk and calm strips create personalized workspaces. Breathing exercise cards and sensory brushes help manage stress, while sensory toys offer a tactile experience for better focus. These items are not just tools; they are essential supports that will significantly impact their learning.

Our goals for this project are straightforward: to create a classroom where every student can reach their full potential, where learning is an enjoyable adventure, and where their unique abilities are nurtured. Our students are unique in their boundless energy, intelligence, and insatiable curiosity. Your support will empower them to thrive and make our classroom a place of focused, charismatic learning.
