it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

These books and bins will help organize and expand our classroom library.
My goal is to ensure students are exposed to diverse literature ones they can relate to and one that will allow them to see other peoples' perspectives. This will ensure students gain a sense of self while also learning about different experiences with the world. This will ensure they have a better sense of empathy.
In my classroom, I have worked on creating a safe space for all students ensuring each of my kiddos feels included and represented from our art to our reading as well as the food we share together in class. I have a great passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in my classroom.
