My Project

My students deal with a lot when they are not in my classroom and I know they come to school stressed, with so much on their minds. I want to create a calm, and nurturing environment, conducive to creating a successful academic journey for my students.

This area will allow my students that are feeling overwhelmed to have a break and simply relax.

I believe that mental health is so very important and I want my students to have the necessary tools and resources available to them. I will have different quotes and affirmations for students to read; as well as play soft relaxing music in the calming corner. When frustrated or stressed out, students will have the opportunity to retreat to the calming corner to de-stress and then return to working on their assignments.
