This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, I am a third grade dual language teacher and I will shortly start my second year teaching. Since last year was my first year teaching, I was a bit unprepared and unaware of the resources a teacher, classroom, and students need in order to succeed.

My goals for this project are to give my students the best learning environment possible so that they feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, and growing.

The stools will provide more accommodating options for seating for my students that need space to fidget. I would also like the other items to keep the classroom and resources organized and accessible to students.

My students are special because the are learning to be biliterate, bilingual, and bicultural by being in a dual language classroom and program.
