This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

For many of my inner city students there is a huge digital divide. For some their only exposure to technology use is at school other than their cell phones at home. New technology will help them stay informed and competitive students.

My Project

As a STEM teacher we try to expose students to endless possibilities using innovation and creativity. Covid-19 has made it a true reality that without access and exposure my students could be falling victim further to the digital divide. This technology will help empower them to explore the world virtually and build their tech skills using the latest and most innovative technology. This could also allow them to participate in summer enrichment programs that focus on STEM areas but will require them to have working technology with the latest software.
