This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this project will be used to help my 6th grade mini meteorologists use actual weather tools to collect and analyze data from the atmosphere around them. What better way to help instill and develop a true love of STEM as well as the environment around them?

The best way for students to learn STEM concepts is via authentic, hands-on activities.

That is even more crucial for students from under-represented communities and groups. By funding this project, you will help to provide tools that my junior meteorologists in the Bronx will use to authentically carry out investigations. The possibilities and "wondering" will be endless.
