The goal of my science lab is to allow students to have hands-on experiences to build on their current lessons and grow their prior knowledge. These activities are not to teach them something new but to reinforce and review what they already know.
By giving students the ability to work through different hypotheses using the activity tub and mini lab, students can retain more knowledge and have the ability to apply it elsewhere.
Paired with other learning activities, these labs would make a great addition to station days or even for test review.
