Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are lovely and lively; I love that they can verbalize and make choices for what they want. In addition, they are very selective regarding what food they like to eat, so they do not always like what is served for lunch at the school cafeteria. However, once the students choose to eat or not, they must follow the directions to stay until the lunch period ends. This request made it difficult as students sat without having anything to do or engage. For this reason, having a variety of board games available for students will allow them to entertain themselves and use the board games to socialize with peers and use their time effectively. For my students, getting these games will make a difference in their socialization skills, such as building relational and problem-solving skills.
