My Project

Two years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic and the remote school year, I started a virtual after-school Minecraft Club in order for students to have a place to de-stress and relax. Since then, my Minecraft Club has become something so much bigger than I could have possibly imagined. My students have impressed me and the school community with their efforts in charity fundraising, leading professional development, esports, and so much more!

Now more than ever before, it's important for students to have a creative outlet and these Minecraft LEGO sets are a great way of promoting hands-on social-emotional learning and STEM.

With these Minecraft-themed LEGO sets, my Minecraft Club members will be able to hone their creative thinking, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, planning, and perseverance skills. Minecraft and LEGO offer a game-based learning tool that helps boost engagement and keeps my students motivated in and out of school. Classroom gamification will help students recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
