My Project

These books will help enhance the in-game building experience for my Minecraft Club's esports team that I coach. My students enjoy coming into my Minecraft-themed classroom and having these Minecraft guide books for building will greatly help inspire their work in upcoming Minecraft building competitions.

Minecraft esports and these build books are a great way of helping students learn about collaboration, planning, time management, and help increase engagement.

With Minecraft esports, a large focus is on competitions where students design builds within the game. A large majority of the competitions that my students participate in revolve around making New York City sustainable and environmentally-friendly.

A common misconception is that these building competitions just involves student playing Minecraft but it is so much more than that. Before students begin building within Minecraft, they must go through the engineering design process of ask, research, imagine, and plan. These Minecraft build idea and guide books will greatly help students during the research and imagine process for their esports competitions.
