My Project

Three years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic and the remote school year, I started a virtual after-school Minecraft Club in order for students to have a place to de-stress and relax. Since then, my Minecraft Club has become something so much bigger than I could have possibly imagined. My students have impressed me and the school community with their efforts in charity fundraising, leading professional development, esports, and so much more!

After winning this year's New York City Battle of the Boroughs Minecraft championships, my Minecraft Club students and I are moving to a new classroom so we can have more space for our amazing work.

With these Minecraft-themed classroom decorations, we hope to recreate our welcoming and affirming Minecraft area in our new classroom. My students love decorating the classroom and making it a place that they can call their own.
