This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"You're off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way." - Dr. Seuss We are ready to climb our mountain this year in kindergarten! We just need a little help getting there.

I have a very eager and ready to learn group of twenty-five kindergartners this year.

I teach at a high risk, high poverty, Title 1 school. My students face many challenges that they can not change. School is the one place where they know they are loved, safe, and encouraged to do their best!

My Project

The requested resources will be used on a daily basis. These items will give my students a great new learning experience as well as help them develop essential mathematical skills such as counting, number identification, graphing, and so much more. All of these skills must be mastered in kindergarten.

Kindergarten is the foundation!

Interactive, hands - on, and just plain "fun" activities are what stick the most! The counting boxes and sequencing puzzles I am requesting will provide my students with a hands - on learning experience. Students will be able to use the materials to learn and understand important counting and number concepts that will last a lifetime!
