My Students

I teach 2nd Grade in the wonderful community of Greenpoint, Brooklyn! My students are so excited to be back in school learning in person. They have looked forward to this for quite some time. They are curious and enthusiastic learners!

My Project

By donating to this project, you will help to fund the purchase of new mats for our second grade classroom.

They will serve as mindfulness mats during our mindful breathing time.

We are beginning a new mindfulness project throughout our school building. Students are encouraged to get comfortable during their practice. These mats will offer a comfy option to students' desk and chairs.

They will also be used as a reading space option for our young readers! Currently all of our students sit at their desks, three-feet away from their classmates during their independent reading time. Imagine how excited our students will be if they learn that they now have their own small space to relax on with a good book!
