Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very resilient. They are dealing with emotional and behavior issues that at times impedes learning. I am seeking to support them by creating a mindfulness program designed to promote mental health and emotional resilience in our classroom.

Our goal is to integrate mindfulness practices into our daily routine to help students manage stress, improve focus, and foster a positive learning environment.

With your generous contribution, we will provide students with mindfulness resources such as guided meditation calming tools and mindfulness journals. These resources will empower students to develop essential skills for managing their emotions and building a supportive classroom community.

I am also asking for snacks. My students come hungry to school, leading to behavior issues at times. By investing in this project, you will help create a nurturing environment where students can thrive.
