This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Mindfulness matters! Studies show that mindfulness practices have been linked to better academic performance. Please consider helping me provide materials to support my students' mental wellness.

My goal for this project is to create a clean, calm, and restorative classroom space for my students.

Your contribution will assist me in purchasing games, arts and crafts, plants, an essential oils diffuser, and speakers for meditation music. These items will enable students to take brain breaks, ground themselves, and create. Snacks will provide my students the fuel they need to be energized throughout the school day.
