I need tuition for professional development though Breathe For Change to build skills used to facilitate wellness and social-emotional learning in the classroom, as well as teach inclusive and trauma-informed yoga classes to students.

My Project

Educators play a vital role in shaping the future of our society, yet we often face significant challenges in meeting the diverse needs of our students. The Breathe For Change program offers a comprehensive teacher training curriculum that integrates mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and yoga practices into the educational setting. By participating in this training, I will gain invaluable skills to create a supportive and inclusive classroom where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

The training covers a wide range of topics, including:

Techniques for managing stress and promoting self-care.

Strategies for cultivating empathy and compassion.

Practices for enhancing emotional intelligence and self

awareness.

Tools for fostering positive relationships and communication.

Methods for integrating yoga and movement into the curriculum.

By supporting this DonorsChoose project, you can help offset the financial burden of this beneficial program. Your generous contribution will directly fund the tuition expenses for me to enroll in the Mindfulness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Training program. Through your support, I will gain the knowledge and skills needed to create a nurturing and empowering learning environment for my students.
