This training will help me more effectively guide my students in learning and practicing mindfulness this year. The last few years have been challenging for many of us, teachers, families and students, and mindfulness practices can help us understand our own feelings better, build empathy and participate more in our learning community. I started doing some basic mindfulness practices last spring and students responded very positively to the opportunities. I would love to learn more ways to incorporate mindfulness to help students social emotional growth, community building and academic learning.
