My Project

It is extremely important to seek out unique strategies for students to assist with a wide range of emotions. When teaching mindfulness to kids we provide them with the tools they need to build confidence, cope with stress, and relate to challenging moments.

Playing with sensory and mindful toys helps build nerve connections in the brain plus they assist in the development of numerous motor skills.

They can also encourage curiosity while promoting problem-solving, and developing the skill of being present. Help me supply my classroom calming corner with helpful tools and materials that will benefit the student's emotional state in the classroom by helping develop a way to self-regulate and focus.

Ms. Eagle Westover Hills Elementary School Grades 3-5
