Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student learns best in an environment that is welcoming and calm. Our class is composed of students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.

Our students have unique and sensitive needs that require a safe and calming area where they can feel comfortable to decompress and self-regulate.

My students are noticeably more focused and engaged in their work when they can calm themselves with fidget toys, sensory items, and calming visuals. With your donations you can give our kids a safe space of mindfulness that is a home away from home.
