Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each resource in this project will play a crucial role in helping my students develop healthy coping strategies for stress and anxiety. The items, including supplies for making sugar scrubs, will provide a hands-on approach to mindfulness, allowing students to engage their senses, focus on self-care, and ease anxiety. By incorporating these tools into our mental health activities, students will learn valuable techniques to manage stress, enhance their emotional well-being, and build resilience.

The goal of this project is to promote mental health and stress relief through engaging, therapeutic activities.

My students face unique mental health challenges, and providing them with these resources will create a supportive environment where they can develop self-soothing techniques and mindfulness practices that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.
