Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Little Yogis is a collaboration between a classroom teacher, a school counselor, and me to provide more socio-emotional development for our students.

We are running extra instruction for students to learn about mindful breathing, centering, and grounding strategies, as well as yoga practices.

Our students encounter many moments of stress throughout their daily lives, so any extra tool we can provide them to foster mindfulness is greatly appreciated!
