This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need an engaging and supportive space to learn. We’re looking to add a classroom rug, wiggle stools, alternative seating, and supplies for a calm corner. The rug will create a cozy spot for group activities and discussions, helping build a stronger sense of community. The wiggle stools and other alternative seating options will help students who need to move around stay focused and involved in their work. These flexible seats are perfect for kids who learn better when they can fidget or shift positions. Plus, the calm corner will be a go-to place for students to take a breather and manage their emotions, with tools like stress balls and comfy seating to help them relax and refocus.

My students are an amazing group with lots of energy and curiosity.

They each bring their own strengths and needs to the classroom. By providing these resources, we can create a more adaptable and supportive environment that meets their diverse needs and helps them thrive.
