Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want to create a multi-purpose room where we can incorporate a yoga room to practice yoga, breathing techniques, and stretches that can be beneficial to bodies. We also wanted to offer a strength training program in the room for the older elementary students, and middle school students who can also benefit from this. Strength training has been proven to be beneficial in many ways. Strength training can strengthen children's bones, as well as help promote healthy blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. It has also been proven to promote children's confidence and self-esteem. At P.S. 84 we want to allow different options for physical education.
