I have put in supplies such as mason jars, glitter, and glue so that they can create glitter jars to help them calm down. Other art supplies such as posters, post its, and positive stickers can help them to create a project to discover their strengths and share them with peers. I want to create opportunities for my students to not only build coping strategies but also to connect with one another. Different fidget options will help to decrease their stress. I want to create a calming environment for them to be successful in!
