Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The inclusion of aromatherapy, a walking pad, and foot massagers will create a calming and supportive environment that enhances the learning experience for the students. Aromatherapy can reduce stress and anxiety, allowing students to focus better and engage more fully in discussions about mental health. The walking pad promotes physical activity, which is linked to improved mood and cognitive function. Foot massagers provide a soothing break, helping to relieve tension and encourage relaxation. Together, these items will foster a holistic approach to mental well-being, allowing students to learn about self-care techniques while actively participating in their own health.

My students are uniquely creative individuals that navigate the difficult challenges of adolescence.

They often face high expectations and pressures, yet they demonstrate a remarkable ability to connect with one another and support their peers. Their willingness to engage in open discussions about mental health is inspiring, and they have a strong desire to learn and grow. By integrating innovative approaches like aromatherapy and physical wellness activities, we can empower them to take charge of their mental health journeys in a way that resonates with their unique experiences and strengths.
