My Students

I am enamored with my students. They hail from all over the world, literally. Though they have taken different routes to get here they all bring a passion for learning.

They all have experiences that set them apart.

They have a natural desire to share their home cultures and to gain an understanding of this world that is around them.

Though they come from different places they all give full effort daily to grow both behaviorally and academically. They keep me excited about teaching.

My Project

These maps will allow my students to make a connection to the similar challenges their families took to come to this nation of vast opportunities.

As for the rug, our class has maximized the use of our old ones.

We being an early elementary class use our room time to cultivate an atmosphere of inclusive learning. As for our rug, it has seen better days.

These supplies will go a long way to enhancing my students' ability to see how different lands come together to create our great Country. We are going to learn to embrace and celebrate our differences and empower each other to grow as learners.
