Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Second graders are amazing! I love helping students at this grade level explore the world around them. They are eager to learn and to help others. I love watching them grow more independent throughout the year.

Nearly all of the students in the second grade come from low income households.

As we begin a new academic year during a global pandemic, I want to provide all necessary tools for a focused, successful school year!

My Project

Using whiteboards to solve Math problems is a daily occurrence in my classroom. Students practice different strategies for solving math problems. These whiteboards provide students a way to have the strategies all in one place so they can see how to solve problems in different ways. The whiteboards allow me to see what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to increase student productivity and organizational skills, you will also help to increase their academic achievement.
