My Project

Our students come from lots of diverse homes, where there could be multi-generational families living together, grandparents raising their grandchildren or students raising themselves, which could pose lots of adversities to our students as they might not have consistency in their access to food, toiletries, and other basic needs. MHS students are part of the generation that has been the most impacted by COVID-19 due to the inconsistencies of school, lack of resources when at home, and living through a time of lots of unknowns. As we all know, a student can not thrive if their basic needs are not being met, so through this grant, it is my hope that students will have access to the basic items they need to help them be successful at school. Students will have full sized toiletry items, snacks, and various other items they need to help them thrive and become their best selves at MHS.
