This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's that midyear mayhem season. We are ramping up efforts to continue our strong work on goals and preparing for upcoming assessments. We are through the initial influx of supplies we started the year with and could use some help. We need more pencils and more reinforcers. We need some extra SEL support to continue to build our skills for the year. We are working hard this second semester to continue to support their academic, physical, and social-emotional needs. The items in this list of supplies will go to community building in our special needs classroom; it will continue to support our literacy and writing goals. It will also continue to provide support for our social-emotional learning that we are working to strengthen each day.
We are working hard to help students with disabilities be better readers, writers, speakers, and listeners.
Our classroom community is made up of a variety of learners with unique needs. With your donations, we can continue to meet their needs and continue to help them feel a part of a larger community of fantastic readers!
