This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a world where visual media is so important, picture books remain a powerful tool in nurturing a love for reading and enhancing literacy at any age, especially in middle school.

While middle schoolers are becoming more proficient readers and may be transitioning to chapter books, picture books still offer immense value

They offer both educational and emotional benefits, helping to maintain students' love for reading while supporting their development as critical thinkers and creative individuals.

Please help give my middle schoolers these picture books and graphic novels. I picked ones that I enjoyed reading in middle school and ones that I think my students will love too.
