This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
We are going green and want desperately to begin recycling. Everyday we watch paper, aluminum and plastic go into the garbage can.
We are 7th and 8th grade students who want to be part of the environmental solution.
This is the first year we have formed an Environmental Club. Our small band of 25 enthusiastic students has inspired the entire school as we clean up! This inner-city school in NJ was built in the 1800's.
My Project
Our project needs 30 blue recycling containers with the recycling logo. Each classroom in our school will have a place to put recyclables. A leadership team will be set up to collect paper and other recyclables weekly. These environmental students will then educate the younger students in our school as to how and why to recycle, reuse, and reduce. This learning experience will impact the way we live out our lives.
Donations to this request will go to a group of students who have the determination to affect change.
Without your help we cannot have a recycling program in our school . Help us GO GREEN!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
