My students need soccer balls for daily skills training and small sided games. The middle school soccer team also needs new soccer jerseys. Currently the kids look like the Bad News Bears out there!

My Students

The students of Franklin Military Academy form a special bond as they learn in an environment that weaves the discipline of the military with the rigors of middle and high school academia.

Every morning all over Richmond the uniformed cadets walk to their bus stop to take the long road to Franklin Military.

Although not from the same neighborhood, the students and their parents have applied and chosen Franklin to provide them the best opportunity possible to bring them success. In turn, Franklin students receive a quality education and the opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, develop leadership skills, and serve their community.

The result is a well rounded, disciplined cadet who, along with their peers, is prepared to face and make a meaningful impact on the world.

My Project

The Franklin Middle School soccer program needs soccer balls for skill building and mini-game practice. Franklin cadets begin to learn soccer with no previous background. To build their skills the cadets need a lot of time on the ball, practicing passing, control, dribbling, and shooting. To build a successful program these young athletes need to be playing in small sided games and practicing getting touches on the ball!

Soccer uniforms will give the team cohesion as we continue to build the soccer program at the school.

The program has come a long way, but to be a proper team, we need to look the role!!

Mr. Metcalf Franklin Military Academy Grades 6-8
