Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing, imaginative, inquisitive kids that are thirsty for information and answers. Their age group has so many questions that books can offer good, reliable answers to. I want offer them a safe place they can find stories that help them form good positive understanding to the worlds' situations they are currently living through and the emotions they experience.

My Project

Do you remember getting hooked on a series of books as a child? Think of the excitement you felt waiting for finally reading the next installment in your new favorite series. Many of my students share that same love and excitement then devouring the books when they can get their hands on them. My students are imaginative, inquisitive, and passionate students who are craving to discover the newest adventures.

As an English teacher and a lover of the written word, I would love to build a library that is built to grab the attention of each and every one of my students (past and present).

So many students haven't uncovered their favorite stories and it's my goal to offer a placed where they can explore the different worlds that exist in stories and develop that love for stories they never knew they wanted to learn about.
