Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach the end of the school year, the supplies in our hygiene cabinet are running low and in need of replenishment. This cabinet has proven to be invaluable for my middle school students, and it's across the hall to the bathroom makes it easily accessible for everyone.

The harsh comments and judgments from peers can severely impact a child's self-esteem, particularly when it comes to issues of hygiene.

Even unintentional remarks can lead to embarrassment and isolation, which can sap a child's enthusiasm for school. These negative experiences can hinder their confidence in participating in class and make them reluctant to seek help or draw attention to themselves.

I aim to alleviate some of the concerns about others' opinions that distract from their learning experiences.

Please help me empower my middle school students by providing essential hygiene products. It's crucial to understand that feeling good about oneself often begins with having basic needs met, including hygiene.

By supporting this initiative, you are not only supplying necessary hygiene items; you are also nurturing a sense of dignity and self-worth in my students, enabling them to concentrate on their education and personal development with renewed confidence.
