My Project

I am brand new to middle school and coming from elementary I thought I wouldn't need snacks for these students. I was so wrong. Many of my students are home alone in the morning or evening, taking care of siblings and getting them off to school, as well. They often come to school, not having eaten breakfast or without lunch.

I want to provide snacks to my students and any student in the school who has a need for food.

Something like a granola bar can make a world of difference to students who are hungry. Often hunger becomes a barrier to learning, and if these chips, granola bars, and apple sauce pouches can take away that barrier, this project will have a lasting impact in my classroom.
