My Project

I teach a group of bright, thoughtful 6th grade English students who are eager to explore literature and enhance their writing skills. My young adult students come together from a variety of backgrounds to create a diverse and inclusive learning community in Queens, NYC.

I am requesting a variety of learning supplies that will enrich our 6th grade English classroom.

The document camera device will let students see each other's writing in real time on our SmartBoard, the lined post-its will help with giving peer feedback, the baggies will protect and preserve our novels being transported in backpacks, the voice amplifier will make it easier for students to hear me, and the list goes on.

Please consider supporting this project to help my students have an even better first year of middle school in their 6th grade English classes! Thank you.
