This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students deserve access to reliable technology that supports their learning every day. Unfortunately, the laptops we currently have are outdated and often unreliable, which makes it difficult for students to stay on task and fully participate in class. When a Chromebook isn’t available, students end up leaving the room to borrow one—disrupting other classes.

With these dependable Chromebooks, my students can access Google Classroom to view assignments, turn in work, and stay organized without needing to rely on paper handouts and they can also use tools like Quizlet to review vocabulary in a faster, more interactive way—saving time and reducing the need for constant note cards and rewriting.

This project is about creating a classroom where every student has the tools they need to succeed. Reliable access to technology allows them to stay engaged, explore new resources, and build essential academic and life skills. Being responsible for their own Chromebook helps teach organization, independence, and accountability.

What makes my students truly special is their resilience and love of learning—even when we don’t have all the resources we need. With your support, we can give them consistent access to technology that will help them reach their full potential.
