My Project

I have been making jewelry most of my life, even majoring in metalworking and jewelry in college. I have several students who are interested in jewelry making and create some simple pieces at home. I would love to be able to share my unique expertise with my students so that they can create pieces they wouldn't normally be able to in a typical art room.

The UV resin, tools, and safety equipment are particularly costly and therefore would make it difficult to afford in our typical yearly allotment.

If this project gets funded, each student will be able to make a few resin pendants as well as a pair of earrings. We will be combining these with another project that utilizes basic metalworking techniques. With that, they will also be able to make another pendant, ring, and bracelet using metal stamping and texturing techniques.

The tools, molds, and safety goggles that would be provided by this funding would be reused for years to come. My students and I would greatly appreciate any amount you can give. Thank you for your time and consideration.
