Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day, my students enter the classroom eager to learn, explore, and grow. They are bright, curious, and hardworking, but sometimes, the lack of basic supplies makes learning more difficult. That’s why I am seeking support for anchor chart paper, dry-erase markers, erasers, pencils, and tissues—small but essential tools that can have a big impact on their education.

Imagine a student excitedly raising their hand to solve a math problem, only to realize they don’t have a working dry-erase marker.

Dry-erase markers and erasers encourage participation, giving students a way to solve problems, share ideas, and engage in discussions. Pencils are an everyday necessity, ensuring that every student has what they need to write, take notes, and complete assignments. Anchor chart paper helps us create visual learning aids that reinforce key concepts, allowing students to reference them throughout the year.

Beyond academics, a comfortable classroom environment is crucial for learning. Something as simple as tissues helps maintain a clean, healthy space where students can focus without distractions. When students feel supported, they are more confident, engaged, and motivated to do their best.

My students are special—they come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives. Some face challenges beyond the classroom, yet they show up every day ready to learn. I want to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.

With these supplies, I can create a space where learning thrives, participation is encouraged, and no student is left behind. Your support will help provide my students with the resources they need to grow, one pencil, one marker, and one chart at a time.
