Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class works diligently learning a variety of music and cannot wait to share it with the people around us. We have connected with nearby retirement communities who are eager to have caroling for Christmas, as well as plans to sing for our younger elementary friends as they prepare for middle school.

This equipment will allow us to sing confidently anywhere, and create quality performances for a variety of communities.

My goal is that with this new system and microphones, we will see our surrounding communities more and help recruit for our growing program.

We are a magnet center for the arts, but the greatest attribute of my students is their desire to perform and share their experiences with other people. Whether it's singing for the front office staff or the local tree lighting ceremony, our students can not wait to bring all they've been working on to those around them.
