My Project

I will be starting a computer science after school program for grades 3 through 5. The students in this group will be exploring digital literacy, computer programing as well as digital citizenship. During our computer programming unit, my goal is for students to code a game using Scratch.

To make their programming come alive, a microbit will allow the students to use their coding to explore the physical component of computing.

These tools will expand and extend the students' understanding of how a computer works by including the relationship between hardware and software.
