My Project

We have a new stage in our cafeteria! More students want to be in drama clubs. They are willing to give up recesses and after-school to practice. Even after giving up all of this time, they still ask to come in for more. They can't get enough! Therefore, we are in need of some microphones for our upcoming fall production.

These microphones will be used to bring our productions to life.

The audience will be able to hear each character in the show and the students will be able to perform and be clearly heard. Theatre helps students build relationships, teaches them discipline, and it inspires them to be who they want to be.

Because we are a Title I school, many students do not participate in extracurricular activities due to the cost of fees and/or equipment. The Drama Club gives these students a chance to participate in the performing arts outside of school, as well as be part of a "team," and have a sense of community and responsibility - all parts of Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
