Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In our class, we are striving to support the needs of a highly underdeveloped student population into a more well rounded and diverse student group. Through in-school Opera performances, trips to the OKC Symphony to highly innovative teaching methods customized to a specific student style of learning. Our students range from new students that don't speak any English to students that are high achieving.

We are a 100% Title I school with a very limited funding supply to meet the needs of 923 students.

My Project

Students in the Hispanic culture spend more time listening than speaking. Having a mic system can help them develop the confidence they need to be productive presenters. From what they did in the summer to why global warming is a real issue. This project will benefit the entire school and give us the capacity to hold panel discussions. It also give us the tools to launch a theater of OKCPS; as well as other enrichment programs.

Mic stands give us the chance to do some choreography, and the mic clip, will help to keep those mics in perfect position so students can be heard.
