Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title I school where many of my students are Hispanic, coming from single family homes. Parents are dealing with many environmental factors that make daily life extremely difficult, even just making ends meet.

My students are resilient and always eager to learn.

They are amazing and regardless of the circumstances really try their best to learn.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school of which the students are predominantly Hispanic, coming from single parent households and oftentimes multiple family homes.

Parents are dealing with many environmental factors that make daily life extremely difficult. There are many challenges in the community we serve.

The idea for the Kensington Hi-Fi Headphones with Mic Bundle is to help promote Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism by providing my students with resources needed to gain improved access to the curriculum by allowing them to tune out distractions and focus on instruction with the Headphones, and improve participation allowing them to better be heard.
