Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our GSA students are creative, empathetic and strongly connected to our school community. The GSA is comprised of LGBTQ+ students and their allies who work to build community and engage and educate students and staff on LGBTQ topics. They are strong advocates for each other and build lasting friendships through shared experiences and struggles.

My Project

Our Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) would like to produce their very own podcast on LGBTQ+ topics to stream to our school community. I am requesting podcast microphones to create great sounding podcast content!

By donating to our project you will help us educate school community members on issues around gender, sexuality, race and reach over 1K students in our school!

The microphones will be crucial for my students to produce crisp, professional sounding audio to tell our stories and interview guest from our community. Our GSA's podcast will be educational, informative and will promote an inclusive school climate and safe space for all students.
