Mermaidism Mentorship Project

My Project

Mermaidism is a mentorship program that promotes self-sufficiency, personal growth, and healthy communication. As an after school program, it is important that we use our safe space for our members to build healthy relationships with each other. Using SEL-based strategies, we have learned that healthy communication through visual arts and journaling is something most teens lack nowadays, especially post-COVID.

With your donations, you can help our members have more materials for visual art expression and communication through unique journaling styles and provide more options for member activities when they attend our annual retreats that include overnight stays.

Ms. MCPHERSON Beacon College Preparatory Middle School Grades 6-8
