My Project

In the beginning of the school year, setting expectations is so important when creating a positive classroom environment. In the younger grades, one of the best ways to do that is with a picture book. I love using mentor texts to introduce different topics with students.

These books will help to start the year off on the right foot and ensure that my students can learn in an environment that is meant for them.

Each of these books will be used either to build a positive classroom environment or to help add to our weekly reading lessons.
